One of the best kept secrets on the island, the Government bus service Sunday Scenic Ride will take you out to some of Barbados' best areas in a bus filled with locals and only a small number of tourists. The day I went out, we were three bus loads and a total of 7 tourists!The service runs from Independence Square each Sunday at 2:00pm and tickets are available from the change booths at Fairchild Street or Princess Alice Terminals as well as the Transport Board Headquarters.
